Iñigo Quintero’s rise in Spanish pop has been unexpected and fast-moving. His song Si no estás became a surprise hit, topping Spotify’s global charts and launching him into the spotlight. Over the past year, he has played to sold-out crowds across Spain and Europe, connecting with fans beyond language barriers.

His debut EP, Es Solo Música, has taken him to cities like Barcelona, Paris, Lyon, Frankfurt, and Berlin. Despite initial nerves about language barriers, audiences everywhere sang along. “Even the lesser-known songs had people singing and dancing” (Source: La Voz de Galicia). Now, the tour returns home, with upcoming dates in Valencia, Madrid, Seville, Bilbao, and Lisbon.
Amid the whirlwind, Quintero has stayed grounded, choosing to return to A Coruña rather than chase industry hype. Alongside his tour, he’s preparing for his first Latin American shows and celebrating Es Solo Música. Announcing the EP on Instagram, he said, “I still don’t quite understand how we got here. I’m not sure where I’m going, but writing songs is the one thing I’m sure I want to keep doing.”
Quintero isn’t chasing labels of success. His goal is simple: “For me, success is going on tour, filling every venue, and having people connect with your music” (Source: La Voz de Galicia). So far, that’s exactly what he’s doing.
